The Crack Doctor experts can waterproof a wet basement from the exterior, or the interior, of a home.
When waterproofing from the exterior, the bottom of the foundation wall is exposed by excavation. The foundation is pressure-washed, all cracks/holes are repaired and weeping tile is replaced, if needed. After placing new gravel on top of weeping tile, two waterproof membranes are installed over the entire foundation that will be covered with earth.
When waterproofing from a home’s interior, The Crack Doctor installs our proprietary drainage system along the edge of the leaking walls under the basement floor. After installing a waterproof membrane to cover the foundation walls, we connect the membrane to the drainage system. This can be tied into to a sump pump if required and new concrete is poured to repair the floor.

HELPFUL TIP: If the wet basement problem is small and does not involve weeping tile repair then perhaps only a foundation crack repair is required. Leaking foundation cracks can be permanently repaired with our high-pressure urethane resin injection system either from inside or outside. This repair fills the full thickness of the foundation wall from inside to outside and remains permanently flexible ensuring a permanent waterproofing solution.
